Did you ever have "one of those days"?
I'm definitely a creature of habit. I generally roll out of bed around 6 am, visit the loo, say "hey" to the wife and the pooch, grab a coffee drink, then check the internet news and social media. Sometime later I shower, shave, dress, grab a quick bite to eat, take the dog out, THEN go out and face the world. Every day, in that order.
Today bro is out of town, gone to his wife's niece's graduation from veterinary school. I have been called out of retirement to again take over as CEO, maintanence man, junk phone call taker person, and general all around flunkie. This prestigious position requires that I be up and out on the road by 8 am, therefore my morning schedule as outlined above is out the window.
Then I look out the window and BAM!....road's gone. Fog ate it. What the....?
It isn't that getting out on the road at 8 is too early, not at all. It's just the sequence that's out of whack. The world is just so....so very wrong this morning. I feel like I've knocked the earth another couple of degrees further off it's axis.
Yep, I broke the earth. That was me. Sorry.
