Cars and Coffee

Today was the first-Saturday-of-the-month Cars and Coffee event.  Yesterday's rains had moved on to the east and we had clear skies, but it was cool/cold and windy.  Still, the cars attending were impressive enough to warrant the bundling up.  (Note: click on photos to enlarge)  Here were my favorites:

Rolls Royce

From the absurd to the ridiculous

A nice Austin Healey, Porsche, and Ford Model _?

A Fisker Karma...I've never seen one in person before today.  It's a VERY impressive automobile!

Wow!  What a paint job!

The story went...the guy driving the Camaro had a "seizure" and hit the gas, plowing into 2 'Vettes.  I think it was more a matter of the guy having more car than he could handle and he lost it while showing off. (No shortage of testosterone at a car show, you know.)

Ouch!

All in all, a very enjoyable morning.  Hope yours was as much fun.  :)

  1. Hey, that absurd car looks like an authentic vintage Mini Cooper. I love it, even though it would take a can opener to get me in or out.

  2. Great pictures! I bet that last one broke someone's heart - and pocketbook!

  3. I'm with you, Scott. The Rolls is the class of the bunch though my wife would like that Healey.

And I agree with Joan . . especially the pocketbook part.

  4. You can certainly see your skills in the article you write.
The arena hopes for more passionate writers like you who aren't afraid to say how they believe. At all times go after your heart.
