Where's Al Gore these days?

What ever happened to Al Gore? For a while they couldn't shut him up, now he's just vanished. Remember 'ol Al, the High Priest of Global Warming? Then he got filthy rich selling carbon offsets or something like that, and poof...he's gone.

Is "climate change" the new euphemism for "global warming"? Seems like good marketing to me. I'm thinking "global warming" might be a hard sell these days in Chicago or New York or even here in Dallas.

  3. Fin and I have been thinking of all of you over there this morning. We watched some streaming video of the snow, AMAZING! I just can't believe how much of it there is. Keep warm.

  4. Al invented Global Warming. I think he has had some personal issues that have kept him out of the limelight.

I view him in a similar light to cartoon characters. Entertaining, but not someone you take very seriously.

  5. I know it has been said many times, many ways but Al Gore is a total fool.

  6. I was once on a program with Al Gore. He was the keynote speaker and I was there to speak on a matter of substance. It's the first time I had ever seen him and I was up close to him. I was a professor and dean and the time and had evaluated thousands of undergraduate and graduate students. As I listened to Gore talk, it suddenly occurred to me. There is nobody in there. There is no real thinking person inside that suit. It's obvious that he has no fundamental skill in thinking." He was at best a D student. I was shocked. However, in the time since I was on the program with him, he has certainly proven my thoughts at the time correct.
