Well...DUH!

I wonder how much Harvard spent on this gem of a research project?.......

Harvard report: Housing recovery hinges on return of demand

Really?  I coulda told 'em that for half of what they paid one of their tenured eggheads, I'm sure.  Must have been a government funded study.  Jeez!

  1. Inspite of all the wishing by the high paid suits demand is not going to come back until the job market improves and that will not come back until the housing market improves.

I did hear one way out of the conundrum that is out of the box but makes sense, I guess. Some guy on MSNBC mentioned giving a fast track green card to anyone wishing to come to this country with the money to buy a home.

Now he did mention Homeland Security concerns would have to be met as well as these possible home buyers having the ability and education to get a job.

It isn't a perfect answer but I don't see the housing market getting better for a long time unless something new is tried.

  2. I'm sure you could have saved them a ton of money on that DUH statement alone.
