After a week of gray, cold, rainy weather, the sun finally came out today and I had a chance to play with my new camera. I went to Fry's and bought a monopod (a one-legged tripod) which really helped me steady the camera when using the zoom. I was surprised how well it worked.
Sunrise was quite spectacular.
But sunset wasn't going down (sorry) without a fight.
Probably my favorite moment of the day.
Now it's Chocolate Martini time.
Good evening friends. :)

Are you going to turn into another photo blog? You'll have a lot of competition.
ReplyDeleteNo way. Those folks have forgotten more about photography than I'll ever know. My ambition is just to catch prominent bankers in compromising positions with farm animals. ;)
