Say cheeeeeeese

After a week of gray, cold, rainy weather, the sun finally came out today and I had a chance to play with my new camera.  I went to Fry's and bought a monopod (a one-legged tripod) which really helped me steady the camera when using the zoom.  I was surprised how well it worked.

Sunrise was quite spectacular.

But sunset wasn't going down (sorry) without a fight.

Probably my favorite moment of the day.

Now it's Chocolate Martini time.

Good evening friends.  :)

  1. Are you going to turn into another photo blog? You'll have a lot of competition.

    1. No way. Those folks have forgotten more about photography than I'll ever know. My ambition is just to catch prominent bankers in compromising positions with farm animals. ;)

Dang, I want that new camera...! A friend of mine said after so many signs, I'd have to get the camera. I wouldn't want to piss off Karma.

And those chocolate martinis from K's Facebook post look very tempting!
